About us
Although Dodo was legally established as Corporación Artística Dodo in 2020, the team has been working since 2012 in Guadalajara de Buga, Colombia. From its inception, the project has sought to be a space where art, education, and community work are drivers of transformation.
Its purpose has been to strengthen youth empowerment, promote cultural participation and contribute to building social fabric through scenic and pedagogical processes.
The group is made up of a multidisciplinary team that includes literature, social communication, history, photography, illustration and theater.
This creative diversity has allowed the development of stage productions that explore contemporary languages and transmedia narratives, always with the aim of offering deep, sensitive and meaningful experiences for the audience.
In addition to his stage work, Dodo is the organizer of the “Buga en Escena” International Theatre Festival and the “Dodo Artistic School” educational project, initiatives that consolidate his commitment to access to culture as a right and to artistic training for all ages.
